Overview
Aperture Finance is a decentralized finance platform designed to optimize the user experience in DeFi by leveraging AI and a unique intent-based infrastructure. By allowing users to define their financial goals in natural language, Aperture translates these intents into executable actions on supported networks. Key features include a suite of liquidity automation tools, an AI-driven chatbot interface, and a governance token, $APTR.
AI-Powered Intents
Aperture’s “Intents” framework allows users to express their desired outcomes in natural language, which is then translated into an intent-oriented DSL (Domain-Specific Language). This approach minimizes technical barriers, allowing users to set up complex DeFi strategies with simplified commands. These intents are processed through the Aperture Clearing House, where Solver DAOs provide solutions based on predefined criteria.
Intents Clearing House
The Intents Clearing House functions as a staging ground for user intents, utilizing prioritization algorithms to manage intent execution securely and efficiently. Data validity is ensured through zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), while verification smart contracts simulate and verify proposed solutions, ensuring data integrity before on-chain commitment.
Solver DAOs and Application Layer
Solver DAOs operate on the Aperture platform to execute user intents. These decentralized organizations can stake $APTR to access intents, potentially contributing unique solutions. The Solver DAO structure allows competition among solvers, optimizing for the best outcomes and fostering innovation.
Key Features
Automated LP Tooling and Recurring Rebalance Strategy
Aperture offers various LP automation tools, enabling users to set rebalancing strategies that adjust asset ratios in response to market fluctuations. Users can automate rebalances based on asset price, ratio, or scheduled intervals, with advanced settings like gas fee ceilings and slippage controls to refine execution.
One-Time Rebalance and Position Closure
Users can configure one-time rebalances or schedule position closures based on market conditions, automating portfolio adjustments without continuous monitoring. These features cater to liquidity providers who want to execute range orders without constant intervention.
Auto-Compounding and Revenue Earning Limit Orders
Aperture supports auto-compounding, reinvesting earned fees back into positions to maximize returns while minimizing manual effort. Additionally, revenue-earning limit orders allow users to set single-sided liquidity positions at specific price points, facilitating efficient liquidity management and fee generation with minimal slippage.
Supported Networks and Integrations
Aperture is compatible with multiple AMMs, including Uniswap V3, PancakeSwap, and ApertureSwap, with support for networks like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Manta Pacific. Liquidity is sourced primarily through 1inch, ensuring optimal trade paths and minimal slippage for rebalances.
$APTR Token
The $APTR token is the platform’s governance and utility token, launched in mid-2024. It facilitates governance within the Aperture ecosystem, including voting on platform changes, and is required for Solver DAOs to access user intents. Tokenomics detail an initial circulating supply of 9.09%, and the token remains non-transferrable as of May 2024.
Transparency and Open Source
Aperture maintains transparency through open-source repositories, security audits, and a published fee structure. Key repositories include the UniV3Automan contract and UniV3 libraries, which optimize liquidity management and reduce gas usage.
