How Beraborrow Works:

Consider Bera, who owns iBGT tokens but also wants to acquire iRED tokens. Instead of selling his iBGT tokens, Bera can use them as collateral on Beraborrow to borrow $NECT and purchase iRED. This way, Bera maintains his exposure to iBGT while acquiring iRED without having to sell any assets.

Collateral and Loan Details:

Yield-Bearing Collateral: iBGT tokens are yield-bearing, which means they will increase in value over time, enabling users to borrow more. When conditions are ideal, loans will be interest-free.

Non-Yield-Bearing Collateral: Default collateral types like wBERA will not have the same privileges but will still offer unmatched borrowing capital efficiency within the ecosystem.

No Fees on Collateral: There are no fees associated with providing collateral. The health of the system is directly proportional to the amount of collateral protecting loans.
