Key Features
Technical Analysis and Multi-Chain Support
DEX Screener integrates TradingView charts, providing robust tools for technical analysis, such as indicators for trendlines, moving averages, and RSI. Users can create customized dashboards using the multi-chart feature to display up to 16 charts simultaneously. The platform’s filters allow sorting tokens by DEX, liquidity, volume, and network, enhancing usability for detailed trading strategies across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and more.
Real-Time Data and Trending Scores
The platform ranks tokens using a proprietary Trending Score, which measures on-chain activity such as trading volume, liquidity, and the number of unique makers and holders. Community engagement, including visits to token pages, also impacts this score. High-performing tokens may appear on DEX Screener’s Trending bar, and tools like “Gainers & Losers” further help traders track volatile tokens effectively.
Boosting and Visibility Features
Tokens can leverage the Boosting feature to enhance their visibility. By purchasing Boosts, users temporarily increase a token’s Trending Score, helping it stand out on the platform for 12 to 24 hours. A unique feature, the “Golden Ticker,” is unlocked when 500 or more Boosts are active, changing the token’s visual representation to a gold symbol across the platform. Boosts are non-refundable, and tokens with suspicious activity or inactive trading history are ineligible for Boosts.
Alerts, Watchlists, and Telegram Integration
DEX Screener provides customizable price alerts, notifying users via browser or Telegram bots. The platform’s watchlists allow traders to track multiple token pairs, grouped by individual preferences or trading strategies. Additionally, the platform offers dedicated Telegram channels for monitoring trending tokens and new pairs across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche.
API and Developer Tools
DEX Screener offers both free and paid API access, supporting integrations with Google Sheets for extended data analysis. The API allows users to pull data on token pairs, active boosts, and recent trades, with a rate limit of 300 requests per minute. Developers can also build custom bots or tools leveraging this API, though restrictions exist against reselling or using the API to create competing products.
Mobile Access and Community Engagement
The platform provides mobile apps on iOS and Android, enabling on-the-go access to market data. DEX Screener encourages community participation through Telegram channels and API-driven integrations, aligning with the decentralized ethos of the crypto ecosystem.
