Outpost Surge is a Mars-themed roguelike strategy and deck-building game where players manage limited resources to expand their Mars outposts. Set on a hex-based grid, players utilize strategic resource management, card-based actions, and tactical maneuvers to overcome Mars’ harsh environment. This game is geared towards educating and inspiring players about space exploration, with a focus on developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Key Gameplay Elements

• Deck-Building Strategy: Players build decks of Surge Cards, including units, vehicles, and structures, each with unique abilities affecting gameplay. Cards are essential for resource production, healing, and exploration.
• Resource Management: The game emphasizes five core resources (Power, Food, Fuel, Construction, and Data) that drive essential actions such as unit deployment, mission completion, and repairs. Efficient resource management is crucial for gameplay success.
• Hazard Navigation and Healing: Mars’ environment poses various hazards that players must navigate. These include damage from random events like dust storms or environmental failures, which can be mitigated using strategic positioning, healing units, or shielding.

Roadmap and Development Phases
