Why do people say Shogun is a pretty small team?
- The marketing agency is Brandon and Timmy Community lead, they have worked together for many years in the Cosmos ecosystem.
- The team has about 11 people, 80% are developers. Team were sort of born in like the depths of the bear market when like no one could even get an ounce of funding at that time. Although we have successfully raised capital but team wanted to be as frugal as possible and not spend it on things like marketing.
- We held a few small events, on a budget but enough to attract the attention of some other celebrities.
Can you tell us a little bit about the problems Shogun is trying to solve in the landscape of the blockchain industry?
- Team is trying to solve the liquidity fragmentation problem, which the Layer 2 and the Layer 1 all having and aggregating them on your platform and making it and abstracting the way how the user is interacting with this chain.
- Team is trying to solve is just the ease of trading across the board on all different chains and build a trustless system. Team wanna cater to the user, cater to the trader, make their experience really easy.
- Team set out to build just how do you trade any token on any chain as if it was one, one chain, one monolithic system.
- There’s a lot of UX enhancements that sending a user op to a different agent, having them execute on you, but still keeping it non-custodial.
Was there any initial trigger when you guys decided to build Shogun?
- Bridge to another chain and then didn’t have the gas token and now your funds are stuck.
- Bridge to another chain and you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a bridge transaction to go through.
- Have to trust in these new systems and not all of them are decentralized.
- Important: build Modular: the data availability, roll-ups, movement labs. -> EVM on Bitcoin, Move on EVM…

- BeraChain has a great community. it’s all obviously got in a unique culture like there there’s a lot of people.
- The community in general and users in particular are really important, even if you have good infrastructure, you have excellent technology, but you can still fail if you don’t get the care and attention from them. community.
- Team does not just building on BeraChain. Our trading bot right now is in beta for Arbitrum and Base to start with and Solana next.
What’s next on the Shogun Roadmap?

- Balance between technical and marketing
Can you explain how the gun token is utilized within the Shogun ecosystem and what benefits it provides to its holders?
- The $Gun token is predominantly like a utility token.
- The way a solver works is they put up collateral and in that equal amount of dollar value. They can provide solving for trades.
- $Gun token as the collateral solvers, auctions, voting, gas,…
- The goal of Shogun is every single aspect of the ecosystem uses the $Gun token.
In short:
- Shogun is building: One UX, one UI, you never even have to change the chain that you’re on. You can do everything from one central location. You don’t have to switch your wallet. We handle everything through the UX.
- API is free for all: You’re in the app on any of the chains that we support, you’re also looking to integrate something like: offer this cross chain deposit system or using any asset from any chain to go directly into your Dapp, Shogun API is here for you.
- Shogun is doing a lot of those partnerships now, we’re always happy to do some co-marketing and help out with anything we can.
