Core Features

Kujira protocol is characterized by three main features: semi-permissioned nature, on-chain scheduling, and native token generation.

Semi-Permissioned

To be accepted on Kujira, a contract must be voted in by the community via governance. This approach ensures the quality, sustainability, and longevity of the network, protecting it from meme tokens, scams, or protocols designed for quick profit-making at the expense of unsuspecting investors.

On-Chain Scheduler

The on-chain scheduling feature allows protocols to be designed without the need for bots, reducing the number of useless transactions. Protocols can operate more smoothly, and fees that were previously used to kickstart bot activity can now be paid back to network users.

Native Token Generation

Developers of smart contracts no longer need to manage two separate entry points into their contracts. They only need to design for a native “denom”. As a result, every token on the network will be a native Cosmos token, and KUJI stakers will earn compensation from liquidation and trading revenues.

Kujira ORCA

Kujira ORCA is the first and only public marketplace for liquidated collateral. It allows users to secure their favorite assets while saving money on them and earning interest while they wait. ORCA enables users to liquidate multiple assets across the entire Cosmos ecosystem in a straightforward manner.

Kujira BLUE

Kujira BLUE is the heart of the Kujira ecosystem. It’s a hub where users can participate in developing the protocol’s future by participating on the Governance Board. Users can also stake KUJI to earn a share of Kujira’s income.

Kujira FIN

Kujira FIN is Cosmos’s first decentralized, permissionless, and 100% on-chain order-book-style cryptocurrency. It creates a fully decentralized trading experience that eliminates the need for inflationary incentives and bots and the risk of irreversible loss.

Tokenomics of KUJI

The KUJI token serves as a utility token and staking reward. Users paying fees in KUJI enjoy discounts of between 50-90% of the UST value. Users depositing into the KUJI-UST liquidity pool receive KUJI at a TBD% APY daily (auto-compounded). ORCA has two ongoing income sources: UST from the fees incurred when liquidations execute and KUJI from withdrawals made by users. These funds flow directly into the liquidity pool to support the price stability of the token.
