Collaboration with Berachain

In August 2024, StakeStone announced a strategic partnership with Berachain, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible Layer 1 blockchain. As part of this collaboration, the STONE token was deployed on Berachain’s bArtio testnet, enabling users to leverage StakeStone’s liquid assets—including STONE, ssBTC, and STONEBTC—within the Berachain ecosystem. This integration allows participants to engage with Berachain’s decentralized applications while earning additional revenue.

Integration with Sonic

StakeStone has integrated with Sonic to enhance liquidity and unlock new yield opportunities for users. This partnership enables users to earn yield through StakeStone’s assets on the Sonic platform, further expanding the utility and accessibility of StakeStone’s liquid staking tokens.

Partnership with Plume Network

In November 2024, StakeStone partnered with Plume Network to unlock new potential yields across Real World Asset Finance (RWAfi) and liquid staking assets. This collaboration aims to redefine how users interact with liquid staking and RWAfi, providing enhanced yield opportunities for both RWA enthusiasts and liquid staking participants.

Funding and Investments

In November 2024, StakeStone secured a $22 million investment round led by Polychain Capital, with strategic investments from Binance Labs and OKX Ventures. This funding aims to accelerate StakeStone’s growth, expand its product offerings, and strengthen its presence in key markets.

Future Developments

StakeStone is preparing to unveil a payment product featuring flexible savings accounts powered by the yield-bearing liquid asset STONE, along with a Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) option.
